After the discovery of a derelict Starship of unknown origin, Captain T’Pol decided to lead a boarding party consisting of herself, science officer LT. T’Roinn, a detachment of security personal, and various other science and engineering crewmen. Ship's scanners had detected no signs of life, but there were traces of organic material, which the ship's science staff considered possible microbes left by the crew that once manned the now empty spacecraft. Deciding not to spilt up her boarding party, Captain T’Pol and the rest of her accompaniment begin making their way through the derelict vessel, moving from one compartment to another, when they stepped into what LT. T’Roinn called The Stasis Chamber.
