regular price is $4500.00. on the day of a show there, the price usually comes down late in the afternoon. that's why I rode in a 1965 Bell helicopter and WWII trainer bi-plane

Would be a blast if u had the money. Cool shot.

Wow! That's pretty steep, but it would almost be worth it for a ride in a 'Stang... Sweet shot, Richard! I imagine keeping those old warbirds airworthy takes a good chunk of change..

they use fuel like crazy and their fuel is very expensive from what I have heard and insurance

Gorgeous plane and magnificent photo! Very well captured! Bravo!

The chance to hitch a ride in this classic fighter must have been tempting. I seem to remember a comment that, immediately after the war, the U.S. government sold surplus Mustangs for $1000 a piece. I've also heard that their fuel costs are astronomical; an hour in the air costs thousands. Only the rich need apply. (sigh)
Still, great photograph of a classic.

Amazing !

Too spendy for me, but I'd sure be tempted too if I could manage it. That's a beautiful Mustang.

Yikes that is a steep price for a ride. I wonder what that fee gets you in terms of flight hours. Nevertheless, that would be one awesome and thrilling ride. The P51 is one of my favorite of the WW II vintage aircraft. The plane also did duty in the early Korean war but was not a match for a jet powered Mig.

Too expensive. This is a fabulous shot!

They need very high octane fuel and the number of airworthy planes of that era is in decline.
