From Wednesday on, Germany is back in lockdown until January the 10th, only grocery stores are allowed to open, and only two households are allowed to meet for Christmas.

Yes, I see where Deutschland has a lock down coming soon. This is what happens when people become too cavalier about the Virus. There were massive protests too awhile back about mask wearing if I recall correctly...that certainly couldn't have helped. Sometimes I think humans are the dumbest animals on earth.

On the grim subject of Covid-19, I must confess that a lot of U.S. population is plain "STUPID and they are STUBORN so as to make up for being STUPID." We are losing more people daily than when 9-11 happened, yet to many still refuse to look out for their fellow citizens.
I am glad to be a member of this online community because we seem more than willing to help and hold each other up during these horrible times.

Amazing steampunk bird, great image!Here in France, we are starting a new deconfinement tomorrow, with only a curfew at night ... I'm afraid of what will happen after the end of the year holidays ... Already this weekend, it there was a party resembling 500 people ... sad world where human lives are no better than a party!

Something tells me with all the talk about vaccines (which will not be widely available for a few months) a lot of people will be even more cavalier about not keeping distance or wearing masks. They will think there's nothing to worry much about, and they would be wrong. I for one will keep hunkering down for most of 2021. Stay safe, Michael.
