Description

Pink stood there completely gobsmacked. She had never seen something quite so big and so strange. She wondered if she would ever grown up to be as large as this strange creature. This is the Poser version of the new Steampunk bird at Daz. Not as fully featured as the DS version and most of the textures had to be massaged or outright replaced so they would work in Superfly. Thanks for the view and for any comments you'd like to share...appreciate your support. Please wear a mask and remember it's better to be 6 feet apart than 6 feet under.

Pink should beware of this creature's beak, after all birds are descendants of dinosaurs! :) Superb steampunk bird and great image, Barb!

I love how your are able to change the Older Poser Stuff into new-looking items. I like the overall color scheme in this too.

Magnificent image, beautiful scene, excellent done.

Try to render it in DAZ, I think it would look even better. Kind regards, Michael.

Oh, I do plan to use it in Daz...Just wanted to see how the Poser version worked out--just so-so...The DS version looks 1000% better...

I'm glad Daz still puts out some Poser models(not as much I'd like). Very cute use of Pink.

I can only do 2 per gallery today (my loss), and you've put up a plethora of imagination in the last couple of months...but I choose this as my other image because I just love the feel of it. In addition to its fun and humor, you have this very classy grainy feel, it has a keepsake, nostalgic feel which I can't describe, but it's like a fine etching. Love the deep olive-gold tones, and the deep shading on the edges ("irising"), and the classic contained feeling of the bird---like it's posing and keeping balance---with the clock as a perfect 'crown', and those two red waving flags, like a 19th C. invention/contraption...And Pink (the name of the other creature? I'm not in 3D) looks like a disney character in shock and wonder at her discovery. A really lovely piece, Barb, 'framed' by shadow, and with a light that suggests we're looking in a keyhole where it's warm and golden in there. I hope you're well, Barb, on all fronts; and that life is treating you well. I saw your snowstorm image---the east coast got pummeled. I hope it's a sweet aftermath. Take care of yourself, wonderful work, as always, and I wish you a peace-giving and wholly warming holiday...
