I am not much different than RodS, being depressed with an urge to hit the highway. the only thing that makes me hesitant is dear old Bodie. a friend will feed him anytime I need, but not good looking a gift horse in the mouth as the old saying goes .
Bodie is old and old dogs must feel the cold weather more as old humans does. I did walk outside 3 miles this morning with upper 30's. just got to keep it up.
I still can remember camping in NE Oklahoma with the wind chill of a minus 9 under a rock ledge when I was a teenager. the cold as always bothered me. when I would get up living at home, I would go outside to warm up. the bedrooms were like freezers with leaky windows. I left OK partially because of the cold winters and after I had finished a job at the university at Fayetteville, Arkansas for a week the weather never got over freezing in Texas at the plant. out of probably 50 employees, myself and 3-4 others showed up to work . the boss said we would get paid for the entire day, while the others would not. I was happy to leave for work out of town at San Antonio

A most amazing POV. I love the effect. it is quite a unique experience to view. The angle is very different from your other camera work and most enjoyable. Here in ABQ it is really hitting its winter stride. I was out and about today and i have yet to warm up.

Great photo of this magnificent place, Richard. We were there a long, long time ago while I was still in the military. Hope to maybe go back someday if this freakin' pandemic ever ends. I'm about ready to start walking on kittens... (not really...LOL)
Kinda feeling better today.. Working on the next TNA page, and that always helps me forget being a prisoner in my own home..
