Description

An addition to my Sky Pirate crew! I got this cool plane as a freebie when I bought something or other from jonnte, and today I decided to make use of it! I figure if the Sky Pirates have a big enough galleon to load in giant steam-powered battlemechs, then why not have the ability to launch a aerofighter? And since I was thinking of expanding the crew anyway... Her name is Rachel. (named by a friend.) I'm a little tired to come up with much backstory right now, but I still wanted to share the render. Hope it's enough Steampunk for ya! Being a pilot, I figured she still needed a personal sidearm. I actually considered a whip, but realized it wouldn't be very useful from the plane. Still, maybe she has one tucked away for boarding actions or something. I figure Rachel is an adventurer that fell in with my pirates for the fun of it, and because so far it has kept her flying, which she loves to do more than anything else. Hope everyone is doing well! There are three lights in the scene, plus the HDRI not doing much other than filling in the scenery outside the windows. Two spotlights, and chasfh's diving lamp prop doing most of the work. Waaaay too tired right now. Haven't been sleeping, and on top of seasonal depression, that's no good at all. So I'll call it good for now.

Thank you. I used the "Tithe Barn" for the setting, as it looked big enough to hide a plane. Used a ground shader I had to redo the floor. I think it looks pretty decent. Does the job, anyway.
