Description
Jake and Dariel decided that Marcello and all his little companions needed a Christmas photo alone.
It's been a very hard year, and it finally started to get to me in late October when my most recent grand nephew was born, and I could not visit him in the hospital. Up until that point, I could whether the storm because 90% of my routine was exactly the same. I work at night and could easily socially distance, but I guess that was the last emotional straw and I started to need to retreat from the news. The elections did not help, but fortunately the system held against the man who would tear it all down for the sake of his ego. Here is hoping the future holds brighter things...

Your image is wonderful...it brings out the essence of the Christmas season--peace and the spirit of giving. Really like how the kitty is "tickling" the child's foot :) Yup, sure has been an anno malum...though there have been some good moments--the Pres. election and the debut of the vaccines. 31 days until we get the monster out of the WH--probably going to be some of the longest 31 days we have experienced. Let's make sure we scrub this monstrous beast out of our sociopolitical memory/reality forever.
