The shockwave was done with Gimp using displace in filters-map-displace. Sorry for not posting this when I first posted this image.:(

Nice backlighting. The combination of the sky and the landscape give nice atmosphere.

I just noticed this picture (I loved the first version) and did not see this one until now. This is still an excellent picture IMO - the way you make it look like a shockwave (using a Bliss effect) is very good. I like the filtering .. but actually I also liked the first "raw" version. (Just saw the last rating on your prev picture, that is sad to see that someone really do not appreciate/see quality). Well, keep up your great work :-D
