Pencils, 2h to 8b. The title means "Very close". The geometry of this image is very unusual, with the hair making this sort of left pointing wedge of dark between the upper and lower very light areas. In my reference photo, the background is a white wall and the pillow was light colored, so this geometry comes straight from the reference. I took this photo nearly 2 years ago, never intending to draw it. The composition was very interesting as a photo, and I think it works well as a pencil drawing also. I am pleased with this. I was nervous that not drawing for so long had dulled my skills. This seems to show that my skill is still where it should be.
