Description

Independent News Network 17th December 2610 -Special News Update- For several weeks Federation assault troops have been attempting to capture intact the massive Dayton-Aomori Development & Production facility on the world of Gohara. No images of the intense fighting have emerged from within the base due to the MN8 Media Restriction Order that has been applied for strategic security, that is until now. For Federal Military Command have released to all news networks an image that they had intercepted from the now shamed JIN LO Media station who had attempted to flirt the restriction last week, and who have now lost their transmission licence. Major Dean Lubic of the Armed Forces Media Relations Office made this statement earlier today: "It is hoped that by releasing this image to every rival station who honoured and abided by the restriction order, that this breach of trust will not be repeated. Our soldiers duties are difficult enough without those at home handing the enemy valuable intelligence, the importance of which may not initially be apparent." Major Lubic added that an archive of images would be released upon cessation of the current campaign once Federal Military Intelligence clears them. The reasons given for the excessive amount of time and lives in taking this facility are, that the entire complex is massive (sprawling over 20+ miles), and much of it is solely designed for defence. The complex layout is designed to confuse and trap, with huge sections functioning purely as killing zones where frightening levels of firepower can be brought to bear on any attacker. Many sections are flooded with gas and nerve agents, which despite the recently issued Mk6 Combat Armour that has undoubtedly saved many lives, still presents an extreme hazard for those engaged in combat. As the days pass by, and our dead and injured come home, we can only pray for those still fighting on our behalf in the outer reaches. And on the 25th, to spare an extra thought for them and their families who can't be together this coming Fellowship day. .: Credits :. Wow! First off, your story rocks! Friggin' Cool! (And I wish our media at home would take a lesson here and relize all soldiers have a hard enough job without them leaking information to the world. Now, as for the image itself...amazing! The POV is for pure action! The lighting, steam, poses..all perfect. I love the guy in the distance that is nothing more then a dark silloutte (SP?). Really kick ass work! I voted for it!

Hi deadpoole, The figures and props where set up in Poser, but in this case, the whole thing was imported into Lightwave for rendering since Poser is pretty crap in that department, especially the for the lighting side of things
