Description
today has been one of those days. I had a 9:30 appointment 23 miles from where I live, so I left early taking all side streets to avoid the highways. it took more than one hour there, because of high pressure sales. I declined purchasing anything that I did not ask for. an urn that Amazon sells for $70 was marked up by them to $300.00. I finally got away from there and made my way home. I hate going where the sales people insist on trying give the shaft to customers just like car dealers

Buyer beware, I suppose. Good for you for standing firm.
This is a cool shot. Water, buildings, bridge and windmills... everything a city could need.

Cool shot, and it sounds like you managed to get out of there without decimating your wallet, so that's good.

For this first day of the rest of our lives, I want to send a universal greeting to all here that have shown me so much kindness over the past year. When I finally came back to this wonderful group after years away on the road, I wondered if anyone would even remember me. Not only did many of my oldest friends remember and greet me with warmth, many more of you, who I did not know, came to be my friends on here. That warmed me more than I can ever express. Now,as we embark on 2021, I look so forward to viewing your art, trying to make you laugh with mine, and sharing some good times. I wish for each of you to grow as individuals and as artist. This year, I will immensely enjoy your gallery, your posts, and your friendship.
This is a universal message for this night of January 1st of 2021. As I look at each work tonight by you, the message will be the same. There is no need for you to look at every notification from me on your feed tonight.

An excellent shot. I feel for you about pushy sales people.
