Description
No matter what money loved ones throw at the treatment for Covid, some just don't make it and that is so very sad. My heart goes out to ALL those front line people who are caring for the sick and infirm.
Nevertheless, we cannot stay sombre too long because there is a life to live and we're all lucky enough to be able to enjoy it, no matter the hardship.
Stay safe everyone! Try to keep away from this extremely virulent new strain!

For this first day of the rest of our lives, I want to send a universal greeting to all here that have shown me so much kindness over the past year. When I finally came back to this wonderful group after years away on the road, I wondered if anyone would even remember me. Not only did many of my oldest friends remember and greet me with warmth, many more of you, who I did not know, came to be my friends on here. That warmed me more than I can ever express. Now,as we embark on 2021, I look so forward to viewing your art, trying to make you laugh with mine, and sharing some good times. I wish for each of you to grow as individuals and as artist. This year, I will immensely enjoy your gallery, your posts, and your friendship.
This is a universal message for this night of January 1st of 2021. As I look at each work tonight by you, the message will be the same. There is no need for you to look at every notification from me on your feed tonight.

Indeed, there are times when money can't buy something...It seems with this damned Covid, it more a matter of genes that decides who will live or not. Bless the first responders and hospital crews for their tireless work...Hope they distribute the vaccine more rapidly, otherwise all will be for naught.
