Description
I was looking an image that could describe the past year in general but I believe it more aptly tells the story of the past FOUR years in a nut shell, pun intended! Originally I was going to title this "No Pain, No Gain" for what our nation has been through. . . we gained a LOT!!! Carla and Shelby are looking to brighter days ahead of us and with that I wish to thank each and everyone of you here in the gallery for your creativity, your sharing and your comments and hope that 2021 is a new birth for us all. Happy New Year from all that reside in this household.

Ouch indeed! My groin is aching just looking at this - she's far more limber than I. Not to mention a whole lot easier on the eyes!
Yeah.... The past 4 years... What a circus with a most terrifying clown act. I guess the next couple weeks will determine if democracy in this country is still valid.

For this first day of the rest of our lives, I want to send a universal greeting to all here that have shown me so much kindness over the past year. When I finally came back to this wonderful group after years away on the road, I wondered if anyone would even remember me. Not only did many of my oldest friends remember and greet me with warmth, many more of you, who I did not know, came to be my friends on here. That warmed me more than I can ever express. Now,as we embark on 2021, I look so forward to viewing your art, trying to make you laugh with mine, and sharing some good times. I wish for each of you to grow as individuals and as artist. This year, I will immensely enjoy your gallery, your posts, and your friendship.
This is a universal message for this night of January 1st of 2021. As I look at each work tonight by you, the message will be the same. There is no need for you to look at every notification from me on your feed tonight.
