Description
Daz 4.10, 3DL render, postwork in PS
This was supposed to be my last piece of 2020... but after it rendered for 2 days and only got to 84%, it became my first render of 2021 - I hope it isn't a portent of ill-renders to come!

Awesome job. That's a long render for sure. I get mad when it take a couple of hours. lol Not sure if you use Lux or Reality, those do take a long time to render. Id say this one is a good sign for the year to come. I wish you the best and hope I catch your work that follows.

I tried Lux a couple of times (there is a total of 1 successful render in my gallery), but in the end decided 3DL was my zone, and now I don't even bother trying anything else. It doesn't get much attention from the PBR masses, but I love the look it gives. Have a great New Year, and thank you for commenting!

Its a good sign that 2021 will be a year of knowledge, hopefully without giving up an eye.

Rendered in 3DLight, nice to know! Too often people think they cannot do anything without the newer stuff

I know, it makes me feel quite the Luddite, but I simply have never been all that interested in photorealism - I admire painters, generally, not photographers. I also primarily use Genesis 1, so I am far, far behind the tech curve, I suppose... but I am unrepentant! :-D

And I perfectly understand you. In fact I am still one of those stubborn users of Carrara, and happy about it.
