Description
Just another scene test for The Return to OZ
This isn't your MGM Wizard of OZ!
In this story, things were a lot different.
Dorothy Gale had an experience, told the story to a family member who sold the story to an executive at MGM. The executive, while he liked the story felt that Hollywood wouldn't take the idea if he pitched it to them. So he changed the story to what we saw in the 1939 release.
The reason most of it was changed is because Hollywood was into musicals at the time, and the given budget would not allow all of the effects. There was also quite a bit of violence in the original story, and the executive at MGM decided that if he wanted his film made, he would need to cut out the violence, profanity, and sexually charged moments.
60 years later, on her death bed, Dorothy tells her grand daughter Erin about a glowing "key". After Dorothy dies, Erin goes home to find this "key" in Dorothy's closet, wrapped in cloth. Once unwrapped, this "key" is in the form of a glowing red sword. Once she touches the sword, she is abducted, and is placed on a different planet. This planet is referred to as the "land of OZ" It turns out the residents of OZ have been long awaiting the return of this "key" and a savior.

Feels to have a nightmarish quality, particularly when armed with what looks like a 3D printed plastic weapon... So really faithful in feel to the story. You have done a great job with creating an unsettled feel.
