Description
I am forever fascinated by the way inserting a second character into an image creates a narrative between the two characters... and how that narrative seems to originate exclusively in the mind of the viewer. One character is a portrait; two characters becomes a story. The artist can control that story, to a certain extent, but exerting too much control leads the art to become a simple illustration of a specific narrative, and chokes the life out of the unique and diverse stories viewers will make up otherwise. I'll choose to embrace the chaos and let each viewer decide what the story is to them.

great angle for that reflection

That involved a whole lot of moving the chair around -- and doing it blind, since the reflection doesn't work in anything but iray preview, and iray preview (at least on my machine) is too sluggish to work well for repositioning things. But enough trial-and-error eventually works.

Superb image - all your hard work setting up the reflection certainly paid off! I also really like her pose and expression.
