The title is from the song by Depeche Mode. I'm extremely proud of this picture. This is my first day off in 28 days. I was very low when I got off work yesterday morning. I did great stuff with Photoshop all night, but I didn't start thinking of an idea for my traditional weekly 3D illustration until 6:20 this morning. It's now 10:12, and here it is. The day started on such a dark note that I thought I'd do something cheerful, a scene from The Darkening after Victor and Jenny are married, when they take a vacation in the South Pacific and Jenny puts together some big pieces of her rock and roll fantasy, that being primal and wild can be happy and light, instead of the goth darkness of "Diamond Dogs" where she started. She dyes her hair red and lets it grow out. I loved adjusting the lighting and colors until it really felt like a window on a sunny day for me, even though it's obviously January fifth. This picture is dedicated to Tanya Roberts, who played a sexy slave girl in Beast Master, and also one hot mama in That 70s Show, which I started watching today. Good luck, Tanya.
