Description
my new neighbor is from Monterrey and I helped him do some stuff when he moved in and this was a token of his appreciation. he went home last weekend
I used to go to Monterrey 2-4 times a year. there are so many beautiful areas there and it is surrounded by mountains. this depiction is of Cerro Del Silla, the most famous mountain there. the shape looks like a Spanish saddle.
One of my very best friends was from there. he passed away there and I did not know it until way past his funeral.
I have no intentions of returning there, because of the many dangers. some coworkers of mine when I lived in Houston would ask how are the streets there and I would say " a little bit better than Houston" . Dallas has many very crummy streets and maybe worse than Houston.
I am not fluent in Spanish but able to communicate. a Mexican that was working for me did not do some work as I wanted. I told him in front of the other workers , "if you want to work for me, you better learn Spanish". they all had a big laugh

That's a pretty cool token, Richard! That mountain does look like a saddle - pretty neat!
Some of the streets in Kansas City are best avoided - especially at night. Unless you're driving a tank or APC...
