Fabulous scene well made !!

yes indeed a picture of shame, it is unbelievable what Trump has brought of misfortune, humiliation, shame, madness ... I could go on but now the United States must be allowed to heal..may he be punished for all his misdeeds and may justice be done, an impeachment or immediately remove him before he can pardon himself and the rest of his hideous family and all his other cowardly accomplices ***

An act absolutely unbelievable and astounding but somewhat predictable with the hateful encouragement of D. Trump since for some time already... the 25th amendment should be applied immediately now !! Yes your superb image is worth as thousand words... wonderful work !!

The capitol is not what to be ashamed of. It was build many years before some idiot.
A_Sunbeam
The shame is not attached to the building, but to the riots and Trump.

He still has 12 days to find a match and he is looking, he needs to be made powerless, now. Don't give him time or he find a way.

It is a shame shared by ALL Americans regardless of politics! Our 1st amendment gives us the indisputable right to protest... But no one can ever be allowed to that arms against OUR government! Those who did are not American... Including the one who incited it!

Nice image, no shame attached to the building..
Deeply saddened but the events...as already mentioned on a previous post....
Two things I really don't discuss politics and religion, but I will say the sooner this individual is removed the better, an absolute abuse of power and the ramblings of a lunatic... 2 more weeks and the country will be released from its leaders 7 levels of purgatory, surely they can push to invoke the 25th amendment...or at least for incitement

I rarely comment on politics, too; but there are occasions when something has to be said.

I am always amazed at the loyalty President Trump commands. HIs rank-and-file supporters approve of everything he says and does, readily believing and acting upon his barefaced lies.
A_Sunbeam
It was always so; certain leaders manage to split their nations into supporters and opposition, and then use one group to suppress the other.
I will make just one more comment - I keep seeing body language that I seem to recognise from the past; Trump's head movements and posturing remind me vividly of those of Mussolini.

Yes... and something one would think could never happen here! this was a sad day for democracy!

Intelligence, strength, dignity: These have been the central attributes for the Republicans' party mascot, the elephant, for around 150 years. And the unprecedented process of U.S. Wahl certification, a skunk would be better suited.

Very dramatic symbolic scene! I don't think our country (US of A) will ever regain the trust people used to have in our reputation! It will be a very hard task to reclaim after only 4 years destruction by a tyrant! But we are a determined people and our goal, now that the democrats have control of both houses of congress and a democratic president, is to rebuild our shattered nation first. Once we have accomplished that, we can continue helping the rest of the world wherever we can. I have the strong feeling, based on my own beliefs, that we Americans want to be good stewards of the world. We have just lost our way temporarily.

That so many believe in crazy tabloid news and the crap on social media is sad. Russia, China and the like are having a good laugh, way to go Donald... :(

Indeed. This was a dark week, just like the week following 9/11. Only this time democracy was attacked from within. By traitors. And they are being rounded up as I type this. And the Orange Creature with a Tribble on His Head has been permanently banned from Twitter. Articles of Impeachment to be introduced as early as Monday. Not soon enough, but ok. Slowly, this tragedy will be redressed.

Very beautiful image, which reflects the state of mind of many Americans.

The building is still honorable, some so called Americans are not. My heart hurts for my country on so many levels. Thank you for your caring thoughts.

This so called P.O.T.U.S. has a legacy now. Words like traitor, madman, malignant narcissist, and incompetent, lying fool will be the words history will use when describing him. As to his grave site, I promise to see to it that it is well watered anytime I am in the area.

The most shameful thing is that the people who should most be ashamed - are not.

I usually avoid political subjects on social media, but this is a powerful statement. And yet, despite the last 4 years (and the 4 decades that led up to it), the U.S. is still plugging along...
