Description
"Is Your Majesty's servant allowed to sit here next to Your Highness...?"
It happens to me from time to time that when I get up from a chair or a couch and go away for a moment, when I come back my previous seat is occupied by one of my cats. Now, in the eyes of the cat, it is - of course - absolutely unacceptable, that it is then simply "moved" and any attempt to do so will be punished with grumbling, contemptuous looks and even paw blows. So I have learned to ask politely if I can have a little space there too, because it seems that somewhere, deep, deep burried in the genes of our little tigers, there still is the consciousness and the memory of the times of ancient Egypt when cats were worshiped as gods, and up to today they still don't let themselves be deprived of this dignity...
Sadly, the HiveWire Store closed down, where I bought the HouseCat, the Siamese texture and several other stuff. Luckily for those who want some of the former Hivewire stuff, few of them are now available here (and some might still come), but still I have to take care not to loose the files I bought on Hivewire, since I won't be able to download it again and I certainly won't spend another few hundred bucks to buy it twice (again here at rendo).

Haha, everyone who has a cat has already experienced this, I'm certain, very nice picture with lots of details, the poses of the figures are well done, great job.

So true! All people who live with their cat(s) at home have this problem.

That's a beautiful render and almost ready for Valentine's Day as well. And her jeans was purr-fectly created by her paw friend too! ;-)

Having been born in the "Year of the Tiger", I am allowed the honor of not having to kneel before his lordship in his presence (LOL). Thank God for little miracles. Wonderful image! I am also saddened by the closing of HiveWire and I hope they find a good web site for all the great vendors they have (Renderosity - hint, hint.. . )

Have exactly the same problem, and not just with chairs. Our bed is also off limits to us on occasions.

It is certain that the house where a cat lives is for him "his" house, and the others are just accepted ... or not! Superbly done image!

Great image .I use to have a dog and he would often move to wherever I had previously been sitting .I noticed It was only as he got older that he started doing this .I think he could feel the warmth in the seat and this was a great comfort for him .
