Description
Well it’s been a long time since I’ve posted. Much has happened but that’s another story. This year I did a soft release on my property for the last 3 raccoons. Since they came from the property behind mine, this was ok. Soft release means I’m able to just open the cage door and let them come and go as they please. This girl has decided she will just live in a crate on the top of my release cage. It’s now been 6 weeks and she has no intention of leaving any time soon. When she was in the cage she was wild enough that I would not have touched her. Now she waits every morning to see what I’m bringing for breakfast. Last week I took her this ball. It’s now her favorite. I look out my window to see her laying on her back playing with it. I’ve enjoyed this rare opportunity to see one after I release.

I’ve just gotten to the point of being able to use my arm enough to rehab as much as I used to. I’ve learned that I’m old and I no longer bounce! I’m glad to be back.
