Description
Frame #1 of 900 from my new animation. Again, it doesn't appear very different from my last post but in this case the sun is down below the horizon where it should be. I'm using the Volumetrics ambient lighting effects for nighttime illumination.
It looks like about a ten-day render time, even with nine instances.

Very cool! I've only seen them once, a long time ago. Portland is at about 45 degrees latitude, so it's pretty rare to see them here.

Per frame render times were about three hours - a complete 30-secind animation would take around a couple of weeks. Too long to tie up my workstation far an animation that 10 people will watch...
