Description

This was a piece I did mainly just to do a piece. I wanted to practice some kitbashing, since lately I seem to use full outfits, lol. I wanted to use some assets I purchased on a whim. It was a little odd working with a "teen" model shape, but I think this turned out good. She looks like she might get along with my "Road Warrior" I did last year. And, since it was a bit of a mish-mash of things, I felt adding in the balloon kinda completes it. Maybe she's part of a maruader band in the land of Lugarda. (Which is the name of the world my players are in.) In any case, I got some art, and it can also be used in a pinch for a surprise character. Maybe she'll join the sky pirates. I've realized I actually don't have that many fighters in the crew. Hmmm. Lots of possibilites. For the HDRI, I found using DOF was essential, as leaving it off made it clear that the sky wasn't that great a resolution, in relation to the foreground. Overall, I like the low-light effect. The sword is plenty awesome, and the stars give just enough ambient light to make it work. Best of all, it renders in about 10 minutes, 4 minutes with DOF off.

Thank you. It was nice to make it all work together. Bits from G3F outfits, G8F outfits. Very little adjustment needed. It's nice when it comes together like this. Granted, this is still a couple hours worth of work in the set up. Trying to find the RIGHT top to go with the pants, lol.

A happy accident, for sure. I loaded it just to see how it looked, and ended up reworking the entire piece to make it all fit together. And since it was such a mish-mash, I thought I might as well link it to my Steampunk TTRPG.
