Description

This is the first version.. i think i'll add some birds and maybe change the rocks. lemme know what you think... Thanks for looking! -Corey Also this is a reworked version of my scene for the picture "cast away" in case you were wondering. Thanks to Thomas Krahn for the tip on the alpha planes!

Very nice! I love the sky..looks like a storm is coming. The density of the foliage in the center of the island, looks fantastic. I like it as is, I wouldn't add birds or anything else (animals in Vue seem to look too fake and this image is too good for that). Maybe try various atmospheres. (Not that there is anything wrong with what you have here, but I find rendering the same image with varying atmospheres can sometimes produce totally different looking images). Brown Apes (I believe) is one of my favs, as is "Contrasted". Beautiful work here.

The only thing I dont like about this is that you currently have the ranking "great" when this is simply above and beyond excellent. I think adding birds will make the render more alive. As I am a teacher, and just this day was showing some pictures that I had made, and passed by this one and when we showed this by projector cannon on the white screen, I can say that this picture made twentytree high school kids say "awsome" "cool" and similar stuff, I think you should know that your work is worth more than great. You have a vote for top twenty too. Regards Benny
