Went for first jab today.
Long queue of us old buggers outside surgery; bloody cold. Followed by visit to chemist who, despite being phoned a week ago, hadn't my prescription ready.
Got home eventually, the whole process having taken an hour, of which one minute was the jab and the rest queueing and waiting.
Oh the joys of growing old - but at least you're first in line for the jab, and of course there's the free bus pass, your special present for managing to reach pension age..
Just about warm now. Hope everyone is keeping cheerful and staying safe, well away from those nitwits who insist iit's all a hoax. And the teenagers who think it funny to mock the oldies lining up with their masks.
Piper is telling me to shutup and feed him. OK. Nosh time for Piper.

Yes! Must never forget Piper! LOL! I'm with you with all the denial in this world! It is just unbelievable people still think this pandemic is a hoax! Even some of the ones dying from it! A totally surreal life we are all living currently! Hope we get out of this horrible tunnel soon and come back into the sun light! And oh, BTW, a very nice image! Love the characters! Magnificent image, very nice work. All these politicians and medical luminaries who are on TV saying something stupid every second instead of working in their ministries or hospitals are starting to annoy me. They're turning things upside down and lying to us. And the people who are doing the hours of waiting in the cold are the elderly. A horrible way to respect the elderly, and to say that I'm going to be there soon, right now it's been a year since I've been living in near confinement, only going out of my house for medical appointments and food shopping. Your at least way ahead of us. We haven’t a clue on when we get the jab. And yes we still have the foolishness here about it being a hoax. Also those thinking the government is doing this to track them. And here they stand with a cell phone chirping in their pockets.
