First test run at 100 mph was smooth and uneventful and gave me confidence to try 200 mph, the second test run at 200 mph was also smooth and uneventful but did give me a surprise when I was checking the truck after the test run. The surprise was that the tyres are super sticky and super shiny after the 200 mph test run, the surface of the dry lake bed is a combination of a very fine sand, salt and clay and as the tyres get hotter it seems to be creating a super sticky tyre traction compound that is coating the tyres, my glove almost got stuck to the tyre, when the tyres cool it is like a thin layer of glass is covering them, it is very strange to see and very unexpected, but it will not stop me from doing my third and final test run for the day, the tyres are safely rated to 300 mph so I hope to see 300 mph or more on my final run. thanks for looking love Kiiko, drive safely.
