Squall: The reason why you couldn’t find me was because we haven’t promised yet.
Rinoa: Promised…?
Squall: I’ll be waiting for you. If you come here, you’ll find me. I promise.

This is my continuation of the end cutscene of FFVIII with Squall and Rinoa which we don't see since it cuts away from them. I had some fun playing with the strand based hair tool in DS 4.12 to make Squalls furry collar. I'll need some more practice, but it looks pretty good.
Setup and Rendered with DAZ Studio 4.12. Postwork in Photoshop Elements 8.0.

Must admit I'm not at all familiar with the Final Fantasy games story arcs, however, I do find your image and narrative to be wonderful.
