I wonder if this isn't---at least in part---a reference to our Jan 6th Capitol riot (you posted this a few weeks later). I see Cervantes here-----swiping at windmills, seeking enemies in one's own imagination...and you have the windmill back there, against a dark wall or horizon, and wonderful abstractions of everything---the broad geometric bands of blues and gray-blues, and blacks. Wonderful textures too (simply as an abstract, this is wonderfully done). Quixote and Sancho Panza are beautfiully abstracted, almost as cutouts pasted into the image. Beautifully done, Nikolay, with reference to an endless procession of the blind leading the blind. And your colors are beautiful.
