What sort of work do I need?
One wave of a wand, so to speak, and the whole place is clean - but then, you were designed with useful brains, it would be ridiculous to give you such menial tasks as cleaning, ironing and other little amusements.
You want to be independent, to earn money?
You've been around humans too long, boys, they may long for money and amass possessions and so on - but do you want all that lumber?
And I'm not too sure about you risking damage to your circuits in here with all the magic swirling round !
There's an old lady living in a small cottage in the Deep Wood - maybe you could make yourselves useful helping her.
For free, mind. Don't wrap yourselves in gold chains ... they're heavy...

Good advice from the lady! Don't waste your talents on transient bobbles! Pursue the things that have meaning, like friendships, loyalties to a just cause and the occasional feeling of happiness! A nice image! Bravo!
