Great formations - it looks like a place rock climbers could learn some skills.

if the rattle snakes do not mind. lots in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado. my cousin in New Mexico sent his dogs to a rattle snake school for canines. one had been bit 2-3 times, each time requiring very expensive treatment

In New Mexico, we train all of our dog's when they are pups to be afraid of snakes. To do it, we present them with a snake crawling about, and then we their owners pretend to freak out and run away. We make a big deal, yelling and screaming as we run. It doesn't take but a week or two for a pup to get very concerned about anything that looks like a snake.

rattlesnakes aside (I read the comments, lol!), this is another example of your way with tonal values in a shot---this is beautiful, Richard. The shadows and light,, the deep olive-browns, and all the detail---the rocks are hard but also soft---make this a big visual feast.. And you have empty land too (in the back) with open sky for balance. The light is luscious, even though it's harsh and bleached in spots. A harsh and beautiful capture, with wonderful values. A must-see, full size.
