Imogene was nearly drawn to tears to hold her first baby chick. The quarantine had lasted for almost two years, and her last hens had been killed by a coyote just as the quarantine was ordered, so she had waited for a long time. (This is true). I got my new chicks in late July when the quarantine was lifted, and the feed store had them available. They just turned old enough to start laying eggs. (But I'm not the fictional Imogene ;-) I used Noggin's chick which was a different breed, not a fuzzy yellow puff, but still a good chick shape. The figure is Genesis 8 model with a Genesis 3 male outfit. Posed and rendered in DAZ studio. That was not so easy, as the new DAZ version changed where the render settings were accessed, and I didn't know where they were. Turns out there is a teeny bug in opening the program, there is a default to the wrong render engine so the environment and toner were not visible in the Scene tab as everybody said.(Was not the Viewport menu, either). I figured out how to fix it, and so was able to make my render settings.
