Magnificent photo. I read a lot at those light lamps. You need to lit the lamp and keep it dim light until the glass gets slowly hot. Otherwise it would break apart. No fingerprints were allowed. I can see it like it was yesterday. Thank you for sharing, my dear Richard.

I had an Uncle down in Texas. He lived in a three room shack that was full of stuff that looked like this. His place was right in the middle of Amarillo and he had been grandfathered in. The zoning commission could not move him during his natural life. This reminds me of some great times at my Uncle Pats place.
