Description

This is a texture and lighting update to the original image, still viewable in the Gallery for comparison. What I was aiming for with the lighting in this image was a greater contrast between light and shadow, in an effort to create a more moody feel than the original. Hopefully the use of texture maps has created a more realistic view than the original, which in comparison consisted of mainly procedural textures. As always critique of any kind is welcome :o)

Sweeeeeeeeeeeet! I LOVE the gloomy, dismal feel...the deep set ground fog....the anchor is a wonderful touch. The kind of little detail that really makes a scene. Thanks for sharing this with us!

I loved the first one, too. But this is much better! :)

I like the fog and how it's disconnected from the dead ground...awesome!
