Always has a yearly vet check & that happened last October. I have been rather worried as he has been losing weight, he has been eating very well, so he was back to see Phillip. He had blood tests & ears & eyes checked. We first gave him a home because he had had a car accident he had a knock to the head & it affected his eye. Phillip gave him eye & ear drops. He said he would ring next day re blood test, after being weighed again he had lost weight since he had last been to see Phillip. We have now found that he has an overactive thyroid. So we now have to give him, thankfully, liquid medication to be taken orally, drops for his ears & eye drops. We were dreading doing all this as cats are not the easiest patients. Well Mr. Buck has so surprised us, we do the 3 medications together, morning & night & he is so good & takes it. All over in seconds. Back to see Phillip in 3 weeks to check how he is doing. I hate the fact that we are not able to go into the vets because of the virus. I always ask Phillip to check the girls in the car park, unfortunately Mr. Buck had to go inside without me. He maybe laid back but not sure he would like being seen in the car park!!!! Thanks for the lovely comments, so appreciated. x
