I started 3d art and animation as an adolescent, wow, I am in college now, a Junior actually, and I am majoring in engineering. I guess each of our paths through life suprise us from time to time. I still on the very rare occasion do play around with my 3d tools, but lately I have been playing around with my camera, a lowly budget price digital point and shoot, attempting to capture the beauty in this world, and maybe a little bit beyond.
I hope you enjoy these pictures, maybe one or two are worth keeping, most of all, thanks for any comments you ever leave, nothing is more encouraging to me than for someone to compliment my images, because there is such talent here.

Enlarge the sky size to 10000 and the skys altitude to avoid the cutting horizon effect.

Alright. Lets start on a good note. I like the colors you used in this piece, and the blend between water and land is very nice. The way that the water is transparent makes it look clean and inviting. However, the clouds could easily extend to the horizon using the above idea by SabineB. Also, try to give your clouds a little more luster by making them with about 10 less persistance and maybe 2-4 clicks up on the size generator to make them bigger. A lower camera angle would enlarge the detail of the water's transparancy, while giving the picture a little more grandeur. GJ on the color scheme, and keep up the good work!
