Description
USA Comics presents Betty Boop with a modern twist to the original party girl! 64 pages of crazy party fun.
Betty Boop was created by Max Fleischer in 1930. "A caricature of a Jazz Age flapper, Betty Boop was described in a 1934 court case as: "combin[ing] in appearance the childish with the sophisticatedâa large round baby face with big eyes and a nose like a button, framed in a somewhat careful coiffure, with a very small body of which perhaps the leading characteristic is the most self-confident little bust imaginable".
Betty has been updated to a modern look instead of the 1920's flapper style she wore. She is envisioned as a fun loving party girl who still finds a way to keep her innocence and charm.
Still on "sale" from USA Comics Flash Gordon #4 and the return of Dinotastic Vol 2 #1. Coming soon Scooby-Doo: Mystery Inc #14

Thanks I wasn't sure how this one was going to go over since I didn't make her look like a toon.

I love your picture series, but my favorite part of this one is that quote you shared with is. Thank you, I had no idea of the origins of Betty Boop. đ
