I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

Issues or not, it looks cool. Certainly has that "All American Hero" vibe that just oozed from the old black and white films (in fact, I think if you did it in black and white, it'd probably be damn near perfection! Little bit of a vignette round the edge, a touch of sepia, some grain...).

Oh, yeah. I've got a few version on my hard drive, but decided to post it "raw." Thanks for having a look.

This is lovely work. I feel your pain when you go to make those little needed tweek's and realize the are non existent. Sometimes it is a deal breaker on using that clothing set is the specific character is more important to the render. In this case, you made it all play nice together. It looks great at (open full image)

This, being a showcase, is a bit plain. I'm rendering one right now that pushes it to more artistic, and I fix the clip with the geometry editor. (I assigned those polygons to a new surface group, and then turned the opacity to zero for that group.)
The helmet alone is worth the set, I maintain, and the jetpack can be used for other things with some creative tweaking. I still think my "Sky Ranger" render I posted a while back is one of my best, and it uses both items.
I hate leaving "bad" reviews, though. I hope the honesty is appreciated, though.
Thanks for having a look!

With all the work I spent getting this pose right, I had to go in and take it that next level. And, though it feels weird to say, Chasfh's new lingerie set has been inspiring me. Glad you like it.
See you in the funny papers!
