Description
I went out to take a couple of photos of the garden - and Piper rushes up, starts rolling and purring, wanting attention - so I get some snaps of him - here are two of them.
Note that the "rub my tummy" pose is an invitation not to caress, but to be instantly killed (sort of ...)

Oh yes, I can see it in Piper's eyes. "As soon as you go to pet my tummy...I latch on to your arm with all four paws, ...and then I get to work kicking (that is to say) shredding your arm. Then, after I am done, you are free to go and fix my tuna bowl lunch.

What can one say... typical can, always seeks attention!

I would like to have the suppleness of this beautiful cat. Good shots.

Now, that's a happy cat. Why do they give you their tummies but then attack you when you try to pet it?
A_Sunbeam
Because they are contrary little monsters ... Well, not all, but this the first in 50 odd years that attacks!
Radar_rad-dude
Yes, I know of what you speak! I have the scars to prove it! LOL! Still, you gotta love the little varmints! A fantastic pair of images! Thanks for sharing them!

Not what one would ordinarily think of as an attack stance. The martial artists are going to have to study this method of draw them in with the appearance of cuteness, and then - attack!

Yes, the belly-rub lure is a trap. He's so handsome!
misumu
Piper is a slave to the camera. Don't fall for the belly!
