Description

custom character and a mix of sets from xurge. used edited an iMDL to texture the armor pieces for the metallic look. glad to see a familiar face at another spot... i used to "pester" him about 20 years ago when i was trying to learn rhino3d. obviously that experiment didnt go well, lol... actually i fooled around alot with the "supposed" high end software, 3dsmax, lightwave, maya... pricing didnt leave much options so i attempted blender (that was a complete disaster), amapi, and wings3d before settling in on hexagon, and for $2.oo you couldnt go wrong. easy and smooth ui, intuitive and not too steep a learning curve. after a while i ended up getting zbrush, and then added 3dcoat to my arsenal. Bryce3D and Poser were my first 3d programs, and everything else was just an evolution from that. i got carrara just before daz bought it (actually ordered from a software store where it was still labeled under corel after metacreations gave it up), upgraded to 5 and just followed the wave with that. but since incorporating cc3/iclone, its been a dream, the workflow from character creation and the back and forth between zbrush and cc3 is amazing and awesome...
