Description
Last week it was -0 degrees. First time in my life. Today woke up with still a little snow on the ground. By late afternoon it was 84!! The grocery store shelves are almost empty. The fast food places had lines around the block at every one at lunch time. Luckily we stocked up ahead of time and had plenty of bottled water, food and firewood. My parents are still on boil water notice as are quite a few folks still. At least most people I know here have their power back and some water. Water was just a trickle for days. We only lost power for a few hours one night during the ice and snow. My kids in Austin lost power for 4 days and water, friends in the Dallas area the same. Lots of broken pipes and of course no trucks ran around this part of Texas and more for over a week. We don't have snowplows or snowshovels for sale everywhere. We rarely see snow period.

Flippin' adorable image! Cuteness overload!! You have an amazing talent with your cute characters, my friend. I hope your doing well. I always keep a bunch of plastic water bottles in the freezer that way if the power goes out they'll keep the freezer and fridge cool for longer if you don't open the door very often. So... you have your swimsuit and your sunnies on lol Hope your day is amazing!

We haven't gotten our bill yet. People here gonna go from can't get power to it was turned off because they can't afford to pay it. Craziness!
