As a boy I wandered field and mountain, desert and ocean, forest and the icy reaches at the top and bottom of our world, and each place I found was another mystery waiting for me to discover. One day I found a silver doorway set into the side of a tall mountain. There were such detailed carvings of moons and planets and stars and all those things beyond our own small planet that I pulled the door open without hesitation, and within was the infinite apeirogon. I traveled the apeirogon on the back of a moonbeam I had rescued from the Land of Shadows. In time, I came to the Crystal Universe, and there I live to this day, writing of all I have seen.

I like the idea of the light post being a cental point of each story from this world. A place where the gate opens to a different place for each tale, but you need the right key to open it. A young looking, but ancient gate keeper might be able to help you... ;)

I've been looking through your more recent offerings, and they are amazingly magical, sensitive, strange and mystical. I see you're scant in text, and when you use text, you use it as a kind of inner haiku to capture the essence of your piece. Your images here are beautiful, fresh and strange, very evocative, and compete each in themselves. The recent images---well, you always had a real talent for imagery, but it seems you've really delved into deep lighting (and shading), evocative textures, exploring loneliness and beautiful solitude, the strange collisions of people and cultures in a mere moment, and the "decisive moment" of photography---where a single moment communicates a world.
I'm kind of jumping in...but this young man (Jack?) is floating in space and yet also seems perched in front of a 19th C street lamp, maybe in his mind, and he stares in wonder into space. Love his expression, and the light you get on his eyes Many of these images capture what you've done with young people for some time now. You capture their wonder and inner strengths, as they display great adult strength when life confronts them with immense challenges. Here, he's in repose, swimming way out in the cosmos in his inner mind...Beautiful black and white textures. And a feeling of repose in the middle of infinity...beautiful work.
