Interesting visualization of a Bussard ramjet John! I guess this is assuming that at maximum efficiency the ramjet will be travelling at around .20% of light speed? I assume this is an robot craft and not a populated generational ship? Anyway, I like your concept and the rendering is very good( I was going to nit-pick the moire effect on the ship but realised that a strong magnetic field over a grid of that magni tude could very well cause that visual effect! Keep up the visionary work!

I wanted something that wasn't too far in the future - a device to get sub-space gates to where they can be used to get equipment to the stars. My ramjet is only 10 km across. A "real" ramjet would probably have to be far larger.
