If this truly is your first, then you must have been putting in some serious practice before posting. I think it is quite a nice composition. Your figure is well posed and positioned within the scene, lighting is decent. Not a bad image at all; I'll look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thanks for your comments and suggestions. You're right about the practice part, mlevans... I got Poser in August and this is the first image I've done that I thought wouldn't get laughed off the gallery! :)
