Description

I placed this in the DAZ Studio gallery because that is where most of my work is but this actually was modeled and rendered in Modo. Up until a few years ago I was teaching 3D modeling in Modo and this was a demo piece if did for one of those classes. This was a fun afternoon job based on the idea that this one confused trout got isolated in a drainage ditch after some heavy, flooding rains.

Looks great! I have done something similar in the past using VUE; I would use an intricate terrain and scale it down for a close-up scene.

Thanks for the comment. Pretty much the same approach here only I was working with a flat plane that I modeled the stream into. Had to do a lot of custom texturing since this started as just geometry and there is quite a bit of displacement detail as well.
