As a boy I wandered field and mountain, desert and ocean, forest and the icy reaches at the top and bottom of our world, and each place I found was another mystery waiting for me to discover. One day I found a silver doorway set into the side of a tall mountain. There were such detailed carvings of moons and planets and stars and all those things beyond our own small planet that I pulled the door open without hesitation, and within was the infinite apeirogon. I traveled the apeirogon on the back of a moonbeam I had rescued from the Land of Shadows. In time, I came to the Crystal Universe, and there I live to this day, writing of all I have seen.

Thief! Thief! Don't you dare steal my prize possession! I worked half my life to afford that beauty and I won't stand idly by while you attempt to make off with it! A well constructed scene! Nicely presented.

I like that we don't know if he's stealing the bike, or he found it after someone else stole it. It reminds me of the old postwar (neo-realist) film, "Bicycle Thieves"---not just in title, but in feel. Dark and mysterious. And you use grain too. These are really sophisticated images, and I hope people aview them full size: The detail must be seen. And, as you're a writer, the images definitely tell a story---they really do---and suggest all kinds of things to come and things that might have happened before. Love that the boy is in deep shadow, while the background intimates a heavy light source out-of-frame. Much mystery here....and the decay is very suggestive. This has a zen-like peace and emptiness, as well as mystery. More very sensitive work from you.
