Cicaeda shell on a tree, there had to have been at least 10 of them on the 6 foot chunk of the trunk I was looking at

They come out between 4-20 years and males live for like a week. I would say you are a very lucky person. I kinda like them in the summer, singing to each other. This image is kinda scary looking though. Great Find.
