Description
I am back seeing Liz in the care home & I knew they had chickens but was surprised to see three Pygmy goats.
They are so cute, they made me laugh when the saw Truly as they were very curious & stood & stared at her as much as to say "whose this on our property, how dare they?"
The chickens came over to see her, they were not a bit bothered by her.
Truly was a really good girl & just looked at them.
So lovely for the residents to have the animals. They lift their spirits.

That is such a great idea to have barnyard animals around for the residents...I know if I were in a home, I'd love the idea...as an aside: as a little girl, our family had a goat (Suzie)--brought her back from a visit to Texas--I was too small to remember the trip, but we had Suzie for several years, and I do remember her very well and her crazy eyes (horizontal pupils). She guarded me like a dog :). Had to give her to a farm--our snobby neighborhood didn't like the idea of our Suzie as a neighbor.
