I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

Best to keep the exposition down. Which is sort of the opposite of writing a novel.

Nicely done. You're right not to give too much away at first; just enough to keep the reader interested.
LyleAryn
Yes. Hopefully I'm doing that.

Thank you, my friend. I appreciate it.

Still working it I see...
The minimal dialogue allows the images to speak, so you find yourself looking for those visual clues, a facial expression or a particular stance. Just how all the best visual novels do it!

Aww. Thank you. I'm looking forward to the next few pages - even if they're going to be difficult to pull off.

I love the interaction you are creating. Very fun and quite enjoyable.

Thanks. They're quite the pair, so I look forward to how it progresses. It's weird doing comic dialogue, though.
