Description

I suspect some of you could identify with him--I know I can. Over the last year I have been outside of my home no more than 30 times--and I still got that damned virus...Go figure. Thanks for dropping by. Appreciate your support...

My daughter called me a hermit before the pandemic, lol. I just told her it was training for this new world... ;)

Superb character and great fantasy scene, Barbara!

I hope the virus is not too difficult for you to live with, aside from the confinement which ends up undermining morale. Personally, I have been vaccinated, but my wife has not yet, so nothing more can be done for the moment ... Have a nice sunday, my friend!

Haven't been a hermit because of work, but I feel all who have been during this epidemic.

Yes, yes, I feel exactly like a hermit. I haven’t left my house once since this all started. This is one of my favorite characters and you have done him up so adorably. The flow of the robe is so natural and the sepia tones give such an old-fashioned look. Oh, and even the setting is spot on. Favorite for sure. I’m taking my computer in Monday for upgrades that will finally let me use dForce. One less frustration, and I just can’t wait to get back to art.

Great character. I have been lucky, I have had to get the girls out for walks, they have kept us sane.

He's awesome!!! His clothing, his face, his surroundings are all perfect for a hermit.

Considering I've been taking care of Mom for 5 years now, I officially was a hermit before the virus lock down. But going out to lunch once in a while will be nice to do again. I hope you've recovered fully. Take care.

Harder for me to relate working in a hospital but I understand the feeling and I totally love the look and detail in this character. Between my commute on public transportation and just being out I'm surprised I never caught it.

Reminds me of a picture I was sent by a friend without any facial hair or head hair groomed! Lovely work. Your work is so very notable Barbara!

I'm still very thrilled you got over your virus, and I hope you haven't had lingering effects. (If so, I hope they go away.) And yes, I can identify with this hermit, though my identification is more with the long beard and the frightening stare: I'm beginning to look like Rip van Winkle (or some guy out of the Book of Isaiah...not Isaiah, just some guy who happened to be in the neighborhood...) Love the little tree house, and the golden brown tones, and the little shrooms, and a great robe. Wonderful character piece. Great colors.
