Description
Ive illustrated Eostre, the Saxon goddess of spring before; this version was done for the DAZaholics weekly themed competition over on DA. A complete nightmare to render as the current version of DAZ seems to have some memory management issues; its not a huge scene, but I'd have to save and reload it about every 15 minutes to stop DAZ hanging...despite ample ram and GPU. sigh.
A combination of G3 and G8, the DAZ millennium Horse, and a million other bits and bobs too numerous to list!

like the contrast between the cold winter and warming spring โ could really do with some sun these days

Great render! Looks like you persevered to create this splendid winter scene, despite all the issues! Excellent work! :-)

Superb fantasy scene...really charming and sweet. Have you ever tried this solution : 1 render per character and then assemble the different renders in Photoshop or another similar soft ?

Thanks Gaius, much appreciated. Its a useful trick and one I used with the scne "Procession" (in my gallery if your'e interested) in DS3 which had a lot more figures (9 V4s, 2 panthers and an elephant!) in it, so i rendered background with, back figures and foreground figures in separate iterations. With only 3 genesis and horse though, and much souped up rig, it really shouldn't be necessary! You also run into difficulties if you need the shadows of one figure to interact with another.

I canโt get over everyone celebrating barefoot in the snow. Frostbite much? ๐. Gotta love that warmth coming in from the right!

well, when you're the Goddess of spring, I guess a little snow is neither here nor there ;)
